This meeting is for new athletes/freshmen. Athletes will learn about swim tryouts and the swim/dive program.

2025-26 NHS Swim & Dive Registration Meeting
NHS Flex Room
Start: 6:00 PM
End: 7:30 PM

Spirit wear and suit fittings will begin at 6pm BEFORE the meeting. The sizing is different and try-ons are a must since there are no returns or exchanges.

The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. and will cover these topics:

  • swim & dive program
  • registration procedures
  • booster club budget vote 
  • coaches introductions

A couple important notes:  

  • All swimmers and divers must have a sports physical submitted via Rank 1 by October 1, 2026. This includes a physical form signed by your doctor. Rank 1 instructions can be found under the Forms & Links tab on the website. 
  • All swimmers and divers are required to purchase a team suit and team jacket/anorak.
  • Registration, suit and spirit wear orders, and volunteer deposits will be online again this year. 
  • Registration window: 9/22-10/2

Registration opens after meeting. Look for the blue "Register now" button on right side of the home page.

Registration fee and volunteer deposit all paid via the registration link. Team apparel & suits purchased on vendor sites (see Forms & Links tab beginning on September 22.

Training for Parent Volunteers Option 1
Collins Hill Aquatic Center - 2200 Collins Hill Road, Lawrenceville 30043
Start: 9:00 AM
End: 3:00 PM

9-10:30 AM - Deck Set Up/ Break Down

10:30 - 1 PM Classroom Training: Console operators and scoring table workers. 

1 - 4 PM Classroom Training for all computer operators.  BRING TEAM LAPTOP. Learn the new system we will be using to score the meet.  A Zoom session is also available during this time period.  Zoom link will be sent by Training Manager prior to this date

If you are setting up the deck or running the console you will need to attend one of these dates - 9/26, 10/03 or 10/20.

End: 3:00 PM

9-10:30 AM - Deck Set Up/ Break Down

Sat Oct 3

Divers & Dive Parent Clinic
Norcross High School Media Center
Start: 1:00 PM
End: 3:00 PM

All dive coaches will be conducting a training for ALL dive parents and ALL divers on Sat. Oct. 3 from 1PM - 3PM @ Norcross High School Media Center.

After initial meeting, divers will log into divemeets.com and learn how to setup their account and enter the dives for the large meets.

Parents will learn how to run the computer for scoring, announce dives and run the dive table.

DIVERS MUST BRING THEIR LAPTOPS. 

Mon Oct 5

Swim Team Tryouts - new swimmers only
West Gwinnett Pool
Start: 2:30 PM
End: 4:00 PM

Tryouts are required for new swimmers & freshmen (not swimmers who took a gap year).

Physical forms, registration, and payment must be completed before tryouts. 

Note: If needed, refunds will be issued for suit and apparel orders for new swimmers after tryouts.

Tue Oct 6

Team Meeting - Mandatory for all athletes
West Gwinnett Pool
Start: 2:30 PM
End: 4:00 PM

The coaches will cover the code of conduct, practice expectations, and meet logistics.

Club swimmers and divers will be dismissed at 3pm and everyone else will have practice. Seniors stay for photos.

Senior Pictures
West Gwinnett Pool
Start: 2:30 PM
End: 3:00 PM

After the team meeting, we will take group and individual photos of the seniors. 
Please wear a white tee shirt and your team jacket!

1st Swim Practice

End: 4:00 PM

Practice will begin after mandatory team meeting ends around 3pm. 

Tue Oct 6

1st Dive Practice
West Gwinnett Pool
Start: 6:30 PM
End: 9:00 PM

Dive practice is on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30-9pm.

THERE IS NO COMPUTER TRAINING THIS NIGHT.  YOU MUST COMPLETE THAT ON 9/26 OR 10/03.
