Practices
Location & Time: Swim practices are held Monday - Friday at the West Gwinnett Park Aquatic Center (4488 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Norcross, GA 30071) according to the following schedule:
- Monday - Friday: 2:30-4:00pm. Practices on M & W will include dryland at the end of the session. Bring running shoes, shorts, and a tee shirt to practice. Dryland days will end at 4:15pm. Friday practices will not be held when there is a Friday meet scheduled.
Athletes should be on deck ready to start at 2:30pm.
Dive practices are on Tuesdays and Wednesdays from 6:30-9:00pm at West Gwinnett.
Attendance: All swimmers are expected to attend practice every day, whether it's with the NHS team or USA club team. Swim practice will be mandatory for ALL swimmers and divers on Tues, 10/08. A team meeting and senior pictures will take place prior to training. If an athlete is unable to attend practice for any reason, it is his/her responsibility to inform the coach in advance.
Transportation: Athletes are responsible for transportation to and from practices and meets at West Gwinnett. In the past, upperclassmen have driven younger swimmers to practice after school. These carpools are set up informally among the swimmers and are usually worked out by the end of the first week of practice. Athletes are required to ride the team bus to our four away meets at Mountain Park & Collins Hill. They may ride home with parents/guardians after the meet if they sign out with a coach.

2024-25 HOLIDAY SWIM PRACTICE SCHEDULE:
- 10/10, 10/11 - Fall Break 2:30-4pm
- 11/25, 11/26 – Thanksgiving Break - 2:30-4pm
- 12/26, 12/27, 12/30, 1/2, 1/3 – Winter Break - 2:30-4pm
- 1/20 - Martin Luther King Holiday 2:30-4pm MANDATORY FOR ALL COUNTY SWIMMERS
