Congratulations to all on another great swim and dive season!

We had our state swim meet at Georgia Tech on Saturday and had excellent times all around. Most notably were 3 new school records:

• Catie Choate broke her own record in the 100 fly with a time of 55.81 to earn her second place.
• Catie also had a strong swim in the 100 backstroke with an All American Consideration time of 55.01 earning her spot at the top of the podium.

• Preston Lin broke his own record from last year by 2 seconds in the 100 breaststroke with a first place finish and a NFHS time of 54.71.

• The third school record was set in the Girls 200 medley relay by Catie Chaote, Mimi Januzelli, Christina Bonacci, and Emma Fass. Great performance and congrats to all the new record holders!

More big news is that both our teams achieved our goal of finishing in the top 20 with our girls placing 9th and the boys in 17th! This was only able to be done by every athlete doing their part throughout the season.

As for our divers, Kenley Diaz and Sam Baker successfully completed their most challenging dives that they've been working on all season.
